Getting started

  1. Open Orger and choose one folder through the iOS Files picker.
  2. Orger reads the .org files directly inside that folder. Subfolders are not scanned.
  3. If the folder is empty, capture a task and save it to inbox.org.
  4. Calendar and Reminders access are optional and can be enabled from Orger Settings.

Quick help

Org folder

Choose an iCloud Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, WebDAV, or on-device folder that appears in the Files app.

Calendar events

Enable Calendar access, then choose which calendars appear under Settings > Calendars.

Apple Reminders

Reminders remain in Apple Reminders unless you explicitly capture an org copy.

Full Access

Use Restore Purchases in Settings to recover the one-time Full Access unlock on another device.

Troubleshooting

My cloud folder is unavailable or dimmed

Open the Files app and confirm that the storage provider is installed, signed in, and enabled under Browse > More. Download the folder locally if its provider requires it, then return to Orger and choose the folder again.

A calendar or event is missing

Open Orger Settings > Calendars and make sure the calendar is enabled. Also confirm Orger has Calendar permission in iOS Settings. Invitation responses still belong in Apple Calendar.

Calendar or Reminders permission was denied

Open iOS Settings > Privacy & Security, choose Calendars or Reminders, and enable Orger. You can also open the Orger entry in iOS Settings and review its permissions.

An org file changed on another device

Reload before saving. If Orger detects a stale file, use Reload & Retry to apply the edit to the current version, or Save to Inbox Draft to preserve your text without overwriting the file.

Notifications are not arriving

Confirm notifications are enabled both in Orger Settings and in iOS Settings > Notifications > Orger. Scheduled task notifications require a scheduled time.

Include your iOS version, Orger version, storage provider, and the steps that reproduce the issue. Do not attach private org files unless you have removed sensitive information.
